Reaching out to the community would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and partners. With the state the economy, it's more important than ever for people to come together and support causes for domestic abuse and intimate partner violence.
The National Domestic Violence Hotline conducted a study from Nov. 12 until Dec. 31 and received 32,316 calls, and 7,868 callers participated in the study. Of those, 54 percent said there had been a change in their household's financial situation in the past year; 64 percent of those people also said abuse had increased during that time.
Our sponsors help us help survivors so that we can continue to bring awareness and education to the public and continue supporting the many organizations out there who are working directly with victims.
